This is the privacy policy for RefDat Converters (convert.refdat.com). It explains what data we collect, why, and how to opt out.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-CET7RHL9CT) to count visits and understand which converters get used. Analytics captures aggregated, anonymous information: pages viewed, browser type, country, time on page. It does not capture names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers from us.

We serve advertising through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-9367164390411875). AdSense may use cookies to show more relevant ads. You can review or opt out of personalised ads via Google Ad Settings.

We do not collect, store, or transmit the numbers you enter into our converters. All calculations happen in your browser.

Cookies set by this site: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), Google AdSense (various). To clear them, use your browser's privacy settings.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-party hosting

The site is hosted with GoDaddy in their Phoenix datacenter. GoDaddy's host-level performance monitoring may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent). Cloudflare sits in front as the CDN and applies its standard DDoS protection logging.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, this page is updated and the "Last updated" date at the top is revised. There's no email notification: check back if you want to be sure.
